Two For Tuesday with The Saxbys

By Edward and Jonathan Saxby

We got into modelling when we were scouted shopping in Portobello Market back in 2005 and it’s been incredible since. We have worked with amazing photographers such as Tim Walker and Mario Testino, landing editorials in numerous Vogue titles and worked with amazing brands like Levis, Vivienne Westwood and many other top fashion brands. We eventually started attending commercial castings and quickly realised acting was something we really wanted to get into and have been lucky filming many commercials from William Lawson’s Whiskey, TUI and Jonathan filming with the amazing Eva Green in Brussels for L’Oréal to name but a few.

We’ve also been fortunate through commercials to get into films with Edward landing a great part in the new Final Fantasy XV movie which premiered in Japan last month.

We just finished working with Gandy’s London which is a charity based flip flop brand who have created schools for orphans so it was great to be part of such a worthwhile project. Sadly, the founding brothers of the company lost their parents in the horrific tsunami and were truly an inspiration to us.

The best part of the job of course is the travelling and the people you meet. We love being surrounded by creatives and have an interest in photography and are soon going to start making films.

We also love the sunshine and have been spending the last few summers in the Mediterranean; mainly Barcelona. It works out great as it’s only 1.5 hours to London so if works comes in we are always close by!
